Renaissance: Art, Philosophy, and Science

Art: abstraction in its purest form

I'm a stranger with no name.
I'm a crowd going insane.
It's all part of the big game.
Life won't feel the same again.

My feet dance to no tune.
Can't sweep me out with a broom.
Can't hide me in a cocoon.
I am just a loon.

I can turn your world upside down,
your head starts spinning round and round,
your senses face annhilation,
as you kneel in complete submission.

I bind you with my spell,
welcome you to my hell.
I hope you enjoy your stay,
'cause you're going far far away.

Philosophy: no contributions; only contradictions

There's just the right amount of suffering.

Without sadness there is no happiness.
Without hate there is no love.
Without poverty there is no wealth.
Without death there is no life.

There's just the right amount of suffering.

Without violence there is no peace.
Without pleasure there is no pain.
Without laziness there is no motivation.
Without pain there is no innovation.

There's just the right amount of suffering.

Science: a religion that questions itself

Fire and the wheel;
zero and 1, 2, 3...
3.14159...
2.71828...

Horseless machines,
arbitrary copying,
flying machines,
antigens and antibodies.

Motion is relative,
survival of the fittest.
Time is relative,
chaos in the universe.

Uncertainty,
inconsistency.
Complementarity,
incompleteness.

Double helices,
Turing machines,
alpha helices
and beta sheets.

Non-local signalling,
complexity,
super-luminal signalling,
nuclear fission.

Artificial Intelligence,
time travel,
cold fusion,
creation of sentience.

Philosophy: no contributions; only contradictions

Without emptiness there is no completeness.
Without deception there is no truth.
Without destruction there is no creation.
Without oppression there is no liberation.
Without suffering there is no comfort. - remove?

Without anger there is no fear.
Without greed there is no hate.
Without desire there is no suffering.
Without desire there is no pain.

There's just the right amount of suffering.

Desire is the cause of all suffering.

Art: abstraction in its purest form

I'm a man wearing a hat
and an apple on my face.
I am nothing and everything
occupying all corners of space.

I can set your heart aflame.
I can cause confusion and pain.
I can throw you out in the rain.
You had better not get in my lane.

I can turn your world upside down,
your head starts spinning round and round,
your senses face annhilation,
as you kneel in complete submission.

I bind you with my spell,
welcome you to my hell.
I hope you enjoy your stay,
'cause you're going far far away.
